Ofelia Grey is an artist and circus performer from Lithuania, currently based in Berlin. After graduation from the High School of Art in Lithuania and leaving the fire dancing studio Fire Circle where she had experience of working for 6 years, she started searching for her own unique ways of expressing her ideas through different types of art which includes filmmaking, live drawing, illustration and contemporary circus performances.
Ofelia's drawings are easy to recognize by the strange distorted human faces which express nothing, but pure melancholy and create dreamy atmosphere. There also dominates the theme of unusual relatipnship between a man and a fish, which can be described as a platonic love, but looks unpleasant and incomprehensible for a viewer, although represents a different perspective of beauty.
Ofelia Grey's used to be a member of one of the biggest fire dancing groups in Lithuania for many years, where she gained professional skills and solid stage experience. Later she left Studio Fire Circle to explore a less commercial and more artistic side of contemporary circus and now is an independant fire performer willing to show a different point of view on a fire show - senstitive and fragile, more subtle side of fire art.
