AGENTLINKSDISCOGRAPHY |
The music of LEXODUS is the embodiment of his personality - brash and loud, warm and inviting, and always bursting with laughter and spontaneous dancing energy. His sound is deep and complex.
Echoes of Black Sabbath well up from distorted basslines and punchy kicks, while flashes of levity break through with unexpected samples. Inspired in part by 'weird' directors like Lynch, Cronenberg and Carpenter, Lex always seeks to entertain and surprise. His earliest musical influences ranged from Linkin Park and System of a Down to Justin Timberlake and Spice Girls. He fuckin' loves Spice Girls. To truly understand Lex, you have to see him live. Berlin Untelevised (featuring Lex and Seth Elpenor on vocals with Phips Witt running the sampler) takes live to a whole new dimension by creating each sound and every song spontaneously in collaboration with the crowd. The combination of audience interaction and the knowledge that the sounds are totally improvised allows listeners to break free of their inhibitions and truly live in the moment - usually resulting in a packed dance floor. When he's not performing with Berlin Untelevised, Lex can be found hard at work in the studio. He's finishing the last few tracks on his debut album while also participating in Team SIN's weekly beat cypher challenges. His dream is to make music every day and to perform every week - he would love to collaborate with you on your next project. UPCOMING SHOWS |
